PROPERTY VALUATION
A property valuation is a professional, technical service that requires considerable resources, The process of producing a valuation is not a simple formality.
It relies on the estate agent's extensive knowledge of the local market (recent transactions, trends, competition) to objectively analyse your property.
The agent collects and studies documents (registry, title deeds, property regulations), analyses similar properties sold or for sale and adapts the price to the unique characteristics of your property (condition, services, precise location, etc.).
A detailed property viewing is crucial to ensure a proper assessment of its qualities and defects. The preparation of a structured and well-founded final report also takes time.
The valuation report provides you with a solid and professional basis for any property decision (inheritance, donation, repurchase of a deceased property, etc.), not just for a sale.
For this reason, we generally charge for the valuation if the agency has not been given a mandate to sell (see our fees).
If you sign a sales mandate, this appraisal will not be charged
by the agency.
